Nearly 40 years ago, Thomas Smillie opened a small furniture shop called Quality Plus in the busy seaside town of Morecambe. As well as retail customers, local guest house owners, landlords and residential home proprietors became aware of Tom's keen prices and soon he was providing a regular service to both trade and retail customers.
30 years on, and having relocated to the historic city of Lancaster, Tom's son Andrew Smillie and his wife Tracey now run Quality Plus, retailing quality furniture at bargain prices. Along with Quality Plus Andrew is offering his trade customers a dedicated service with the CareFurniture brand. We pride ourselves on providing furniture to organisations large or small, including Mencap, The Royal British Legion, universities, care homes, hotels, and guest houses. With the launch of CareFurniture.co.uk trade customers can now easily find furniture at the right price.

beds and mattresses are manufactured here in the UK. Our products
